The Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) invites applications for the position of Research Scientist.
Key Responsibilities:
To optimize the slurry formulations for 3D printing.
To improve the material properties to fulfill design requirement.
Build prototypes and test with industry collaborators.
Draft technical report and manuscript for publication.
Mentor phd/FYP students
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in materials science & engineering, master degree or bachelor degree with 2nd upper honor may be considered.
At least 1 year’s relevant experience in material research. Work experience in ceramic processing is preferred.
Experience in 3D printing of materials and using SolidWork or other digital model building software is preferred.
Prefer to having published 1-2 peer reviewed papers.
Good interpersonal skills.
Excellent teamwork awareness.
Good communication and writing in English.
Self-motivation, strong responsibility for research / work
