The laboratories of Ray Dunn (Associate Professor, LKCMedicine) and Srikala Raghavan (Principal Investigator, A*SRL) seek to identify a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow who will carry out biological validation experiments in a collaborative, jointly funded project involving the testing of novel biomaterials to treat burn wounds. We are seeking to generate new knowledge that will eventually lead to the development of a new product that will create value for NTU and Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

  • The applicant should be able to lead the project. They are expected to design the experiments, generate and analyze the data.

  • The applicant should also be able to write reports and manuscripts and present the data at national and international conferences.

  • The applicant is expected to train research officers/technicians that will be working with them on the project

Key Competencies:

  • Ph.D. in Cell / Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline

  • Expertise in mouse and rat handling, mammalian cell culture, microscopy, molecular biology techniques

  • Strong publication record and communication skills

  • Being able to independently drive the project and train RO’s, Graduate Students and Interns and work in a collaborative manner

  • Write grants/papers and present work at national and international meetings
