The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft reports and scientific publications.
Be involved in the laboratory research work.
Train graduate and undergraduate students.
Maintenance of key instruments.
Administrative duties such as purchase of chemicals and consumables, coordination of collaborations, and presentations of research progress.
Job Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or a related field, a strong publication record
Prior experience in super-resolution imaging of nanocatalysis.
A good command of speaking and writing in English will be an advantage.
Experience in the preparation of 2D materials, and familiar with a range of characterization techniques such as XRD, XPS, SEM, TEM, AFM, optical/fluorescence microscopy, photocatalysis and electrochemistry.
Prior experience analyzing single molecule reaction kinetics and dynamics will be an advantageous.
