Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated candidate, with expertise in soft robotics design and technologies, for research in assistive robotics. The selected candidate will be assigned research activities in the field of soft robotics for eldercare. Specifically, the candidate will contribute to the design of an assistive soft robot arm, based on the study users' needs, to its fabrication by using soft robotics actuation and sensing technologies, and to its testing in realistic scenarios. Expertise in soft robotics technologies would increase the candidate's potential for success. The work will imply the use of mechanical design software tools and fabrication technologies. The candidate will be requested to conduct experimental research.

Qualifications

PhD degree, expertise in soft robotics, expertise in soft robot design, expertise in soft robotics technologies for actuation and sensing, experience in research projects and experimental research.
