Job Description


The Research Fellow (Postdoc) will conduct research in the field of coastal engineering, in terms of wave dynamics and sediment transport. Coupling of different types of wave signals such as ship wakes, wind waves will be considered. The study of sediment transport will take the input from the wave dynamic simulations. Numerical simulations and experiments will be conducted.

 

 


Job Requirements

 

•    Candidates with background in coastal and ocean engineering, especially with experience and knowledge in experiments and numerical modelling, hydrodynamics, wave theories, and sediment transport are encouraged to apply.  
•    Possess a PhD degree with relevant research experience.
•    Strong writing skills.
•    Good time management and data analytic skills.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Strong quantitative analysis.
•    Having prior good publication record is advantageous.
•    Open to fixed-term contract.
