To support the research for the project of “Integrated photonic chips for quantum sensing”, EEE is seeking to hire a responsible research fellow for the coordination, lab management and assistance of the research project of quantum and integrated nanophotonics for sensing and imaging applications.

The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of nanophotonic structures for optical computations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and develop theoretical models for integrated photonics for quantum sensing and quantum imaging applications
Apply numerical models, design photonic chips and measurement of integrated photonic systems for quantum sensing and quantum imaging applications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to joint research projects
Job Requirements:
PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with focus on Many-body physics. The excellent publication records will be preferred
Experience in matlab, MEEP, RCWA and other softwares and algorithms
Good understanding of quantum sensing and imaging
Strong knowledge of optical physics, while experimental experience would be preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines
Effective communication and presentation skills
Attention to detail and commitment to scientific rigor
