Research Fellow (Organic Chemistry)

A Research Fellow position is currently available in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) to embark on the development of novel organic transformation at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a research project on the development of novel molecular transformations

• Understand the research purpose, design appropriate molecules, and plan synthetic strategies

• Perform chemical synthesis of target molecules

• Write technical reports and manuscripts on the results of the research

Job Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry from a top university in the field of organic chemistry

• Have the knowledge and skills in planning and chemical synthesis of complex organic molecules

• Hand-on experience on basic spectroscopy and spectrometry measurements is highly appreciated.

• Communicate well with other researchers

• Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety guidelines
