Updated: 2 months ago
Job Type: FullTime

The School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in neural stem cell derivation and differentiation; and scaffold-mediated transplantation for spinal cord injury treatment.

Responsibilities:

The Research Fellow's primary job description includes:

  • Derivation, characterization and optimization of neural progenitor cells from human induced pluripotent stem cells for in vitro cell manufacturing

  • In vivo cell transplantation for neural tissue regeneration in the central nervous system

The Research Fellow is expected to work well in a collaborative inter-institute environment. The candidate will be given opportunities and is expected to design and execute experiments independently. He/she is also expected to interpret experimental results, and author papers in high-quality journals in areas that are related to the research.
