The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, run and implement scientific project on nanoscale membrane dynamics in cells.

  • Collaborate with other team members, train and supervise junior laboratory members

  • Write scientific paper and grants

Job Requirements: 

  • A Ph.D in biomedical engineering or related disciplines. Research backgrounds in material topography engineering and advanced microscopy are highly preferred.

  • Recent Ph.D graduates within 3 year experience.

  • Have more than 2 first-authored papers in reputable journals.

  • Experience in nuclear biology, cellular aging, mechanobiology and biophysics is highly desirable.

  • Experience in surface patterning, topography engineering, nano-/micro-fabrication and related techniques, electron beam lithography, nanoimprinting is highly preferred.

  • Experience in advanced microscopy, super-resolution cell imaging, machine learning-based image analysis is highly preferred.
