The School of EEE invites applications for the position of Research Fellow (Loss and Thermal Analysis).
The Research Scientist will work on a project to conduct the research on development of high-power motor system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of new motor design for electric motor drives, focusing on loss and thermal analysis.
- Development of new control algorithms for electric motor drives, focusing on loss and thermal analysis.
- Experimental testing for high-power motor system, focusing on loss and thermal analysis.
Job requirements:
- PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
- Expertise in motor design, and testing
- Knowledge in analytical and numerical modelling
- Publication track record is an advantage
- Proficiency in English
