Research Fellow (Image/Video Processing and Artificial Intelligence)

A Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Information Sciences and Systems, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on the development of Image/Video Data Analysis and Recovery. The roles of this position include:

• Development of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to perform image/video data analysis and restoration

• Development of image/video recovery methods of corrupted file

• Managing project equipment

• Project proposal development and writing

• Report preparation and writing.

• Leading a research team in project development

• Mentoring of Final Year Project, MSc and PhD students

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field from reputable universities

• Minimum 2-year research experience in related area

• Knowledge and experience in image/video processing and artificial intelligence

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and Python

• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch and Tensorflow

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written English

• Good publication records

• Ability to work independently and as a team
