An ideal candidate for this position should possess a solid background in electrochemistry, materials science, chemistry, and materials physics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting cutting-edge research in small molecule electrocatalysis for electrolysis and fuel cells.

  • Primarily investigating the correlation between catalysts' solid-state properties and their performance, including the development of new electrode materials for small molecule catalysis.

  • Providing day-to-day assistance to the research team.

  • May have the opportunity to undertake open-ended research projects under the supervision of the research team.

  • Mentoring and guiding graduate students

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • A PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Solid-state Physics, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.

  • Proficient analytical and conceptual skills.

  • Capable of working autonomously or collaboratively within an R&D context.

  • Demonstrated track record of publishing papers in conferences and journals.

  • Willingness and aptitude for mentoring and guiding graduate students on relevant methodologies.

  • Consistent production of detailed reports and well-organized documentation.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Extensive research background in electrocatalysis, catalyst development for fuel cells, and materials chemistry.

  • Ability to contribute effectively as a team member in experimental research support.

  • Strong capacity for independent research pursuits.
