Job Description

 

NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI) is a university-level research institute that focuses on the development of integrated sustainability solutions for the environment. It collaborates with the government industry, NGOs and leading academic partners to ensure that its research consistently addresses real-world issues.

 

Currently, a project-based Research Fellow (RF) position is available in NERI. The project is to demonstrate electro-chemical methods in seawater desalination applications. The RF is required to assist in the project management, plan and execute experiments, coordinate with the collaborated teams and other necessary work relevant to the project.

 

Key responsibilities include:

1. Manage and track procurement and budget.

2. Assist in project administration.

3. Plan and execute project experiments.

4. Coordinate with collaborator teams.

5. Maintain relevant laboratory systems and equipment.

6. Assist in project development.


Qualifications

 

  • Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering.
  • Experience in electro-chemical processes relevant to water treatment.
  • Publications in the relevant work.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
