It is also placed 1st amongst the world’s best young universities. The Earth Observatory in Singapore (EOS) at NTU Singapore is a national science Research Center of Excellence. Its mission is to conduct fundamental research on earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunami and climate change in and around Southeast Asia, toward safer and more sustainable societies.
Job Responsibilities
He/she will take part in decision-making discussions and be involved in all fieldwork and workshops
Investigation of the stratigraphical sequences that can be used to reconstruct past sea level changes
Ensure publications are rapidly disseminated, although authorship of the publications resulting from the work will in each case reflect individual inputs to the investigation reported
Job Requirements
Ph.D in Earth Science or related discipline
Quantitative Palaeoenvironmental reconstruction
Sedimentology of coastal systems
