The School of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform synthesis, processing, fabrication and characterization of actuators
Responsible for the design and fabrication of electromechanical actuators
Optimization of hybrid materials for actuators applications
Job Requirements:
PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry or relevant field
Prior experience of more than two years on electrochemistry or electrical devices
Prior knowledge on device fabrication or soft robotics or stretchable devices, experience in stretchable devices and the processing methods
Competencies in materials analyses, interdisciplinary research and electrical device understanding will be of advantageous.
Interdisciplinary skillset, strong communication skills and ability to manage complexity
