Research Fellow (Computer Science)

The S-Lab for Advanced Intelligence invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. 

Key Responsibilities: 
 

• Collect and preprocess real remote-sensing satellite images for further analytical tasks;
• Perform literature review and background study on GNNs for semantic segmentation on remote sensing images;
• Design novel and effective GNN models for self-supervised semantic segmentation on remote sensing images, develop/implement prototypes of the solutions, and validate their effectiveness empirically;
• Publish the research work in top-tier research venues.

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline, with a focus on Machine Learning and/or Remote Sensing or Computer Vision.
• Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering with relevant years of working experience may also apply
• Experiences in designing and developing graph-based analytical models for image analysis tasks, especially remote sensing or semantic segmentation, are preferred.
• Good programming skills in e.g., Python, Pytorch, Matlab, tensorflow, etc.
• Strong publication records in top-tier machine learning or computer vision conferences/journals, such as TPAMI, IJCV, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML and AAAI.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent teamwork awareness.
• Good communication and writing in English.
• Strong research experience will be a plus.
