The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
To independently undertake research in LiDAR Depth Map Quality Assessment and Improvement.
To produce research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community.
To provide guidance and support to any students associated with the project.
To attend, contribute in relevant meetings.
To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.
Job Requirements:
PhD degree (or PhD thesis submitted) or at least 8 years working experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Strong background in image processing, and computer graphics. Prior experience in 2D/3D/depth visual signal quality evaluation, simplification, restoration and generation, is preferable.
Good publication records in related conferences/journals.
Knowledge of scientific or engineering software.
