- Hybrid organic-inorganic halide perovskites synthesis
- Conjugated polymers synthesis
- Investigation into optical and electronic properties of perovskites as a function of crystal structures
- Investigation into dimension- and chirality-dependent perovskite properties
- Mentor PhD students
- Draft grant proposals
- Oversee lab safety
Job Requirements
- PhD degree in chemistry, materials science and engineering, or chemical engineering.
- Ample research experience in synthesis of nanomaterials and nanocomposites
- Solid background/experience in solar energy conversion and organic and inorganic semiconductors
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong publication record
- Prior undergraduate and master students mentoring experience
