Research Fellow, Science, Mathematics and Technology Cluster – LBELL group, to work on cutting edge cancer biomarker research as a member of the group led by Natasa Bajalovic and Desmond Loke. Will join an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative team of Scientists and Engineers. Will be responsible for enhancing the LBELL group's capability in cancer biomarker development, and imaging of cancer cells, overseeing model development and technology use, maintenance, and troubleshooting; communicating results to the scientific community through publications and presentations; and supervising undergraduate students and laboratory technicians.

Job requirements

Required: a Ph.D. in biological science or a related field; prior experience with cancer biology, biomarker synthesis is required; strong interpersonal and oral presentation skills; self-motivation; and attention to detail. Must be able to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment, contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team, execute detailed technical protocols meticulously, and prioritise and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment. Supervisory experience is preferred.
