Job Description
• The Research Fellow will work in a recently granted project on the development of enzymes, reactions, and processes for CO2 utilization.
• Directed evolution will be used to enhance the enzyme performance.
• Reaction engineering will be applied to optimize the reaction conditions and yields.
• Biotransformations will be demonstrated on a 1-2 L scale.
Job Requirements
• Fresh PhD or postdoc trained in biochemical engineering, biocatalysis, biotransformation, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioproduction, bioorganic chemistry, or synthetic biology.
• Experience in enzyme screening and engineering, recombinant biocatalyst development and application, enzyme-catalyzed reactions and optimization, and/or bioprocess development.
• Good communication skills in oral and written English.
• Good publication record.
