A Research Fellow position is currently available in the College of Business, Nanyang Business School.
Key Responsibilities:
Working and interacting with researchers at IRFRC and GAIP, with emphasis on:
Analyze the impact of sea level rise and coastal flood risk on the cost of coverage, particularly in Asian countries
Conduct climate scenario analysis to assess an evaluate sea level rise risk
Develop innovative solutions for providing protection
Develop impactful assessment and advisory reports as needed to support the development of risk financing solutions
Produce high quality research articles and industry reports
Present research findings to GAIP sponsors and the academic community
Job Requirements:
Ph.D. in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Insurance, Statistics, or related fields
Proven research experience with a track record of publications in top-tier journals in the field
Relevant insurance/actuarial industry experience and actuarial designations are assets, but not are not mandatory requirements
Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly effectiveness in communicating complex concepts to the public
Attention to detail
