Research Engineer - 006UE 


 Candidate will be required to work on development and testing of power electronic converters. The candidate will be required to perform converter design, PCB layout design, sourcing of relevant components, laboratory testing of reliability efficiency and lifetime of the converters, data documentation and benchmarking standalone system, thermal safety EMI solutions and work with PhD students in research projects.  



  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Deep understanding of operation and control of power electronics converters.
  • Hands-on experience in hardware design, PCB layout and testing.
  • Hands-on experience with dSPACE prototyping platform.
  • Hands-on experience on microcontroller programming and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience on simulation software for power electronics converters, e.g. Matlab-simulink, PSIM, Plecs, LTSpice.
  • A good team player with excellent attitude and communication skills.
  • Good writing skills for data documentation and conference/journal.
  • Deep understanding for modelling and mathematical analysis of power converters.
