Job Description

 

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated research assistant/engineer to join our multidisciplinary research team working on the development of novel synthetic and bio-based polymeric materials for environmental sustainability, agricultural, and biomedical applications. The successful candidate will be expected to be part of the research team to assist the Principal Investigator and senior researchers to work on:

 

  • To work on the development of novel synthetic and bio-based polymeric materials for environmental sustainability, agricultural, and biomedical applications
  • Assisting the lab and project management, updates, and other ad hoc tasks that may be assigned in course of duty.
  • Assisting with purchasing of laboratory consumables and equipment.
  • Performing experiments for materials synthesis, fabrication, testing and characterization under the guidance of senior researchers.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in materials, chemistry or chemical engineering, biomedical or environmental engineering, biology or biotechnology, or any other related fields.
  • Responsible and able to work independently.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills and a good team player.
  • Prior experience in managing project, laboratory, or research funding will be an advantage.
