Research Engineer I (RF Circuit design)

Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP) in School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Engineer I.

The candidate would be actively involved in investigating the passive and active RF circuit designs at sub-terahertz frequencies, including the 300 GHz band. Candidate will have to report, regular progress to PI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting literature review

  • Carrying out research related activities assigned by Principal Investigator

  • Fabrication of Micro- & Nano-electronic devices

  • Equipment and component purchase and data management

  • Perform RF simulation and circuit design using standard Process Design Kit (PDK)

Job Requirements:

  • B.Tech in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or BSc. in Applied Physics or stream associated with RF circuit design

  • Understanding of fundamental principles RF and photonic devices and systems

  • Experience in ADS and MATLAB circuit design and simulation software

  • Understanding of fabrication of micro- & nano-electronic devices, deposition techniques for thin films and probe station-based measurement for RF and Microwave devices
