Job Description
We are looking for a Research Engineer who is experienced in research innovation and translation. The selected candidate is expected to:
- Create consortium of industry partners with EDIC staff and students to tackle challenges and problem statements
- Guide students and EDIC staff in scoping projects with industry partners
- Identify industry partners that can license prototypes developed by EDIC staff and students for commercialization
- Work with team of engineers in preparing presentations to industry partners
- Identify grant opportunities for the consortium members to obtain more resources for prototyping and testing
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Broad knowledge of different industries
- Experience with managing partner relationships
- Experience with startup ecosystem and funding programmes
- Good technical writing and presentation skills
- Independent and goal oriented
- Open to fixed-term contract
