Research Engineer ( AI in Medicine)

The laboratory for Medical Image Data Sciences at the National University of Singapore (https://bieqa.github.io ) has a Research Engineer opening. The lab focuses on cutting-edge research at the intersection of neuroimage and genetics, developing and applying AI technology to large neuroimage and genetic data for precision psychiatry.
 

The laboratory has great computing capacity, including multiple M40, V100, A100 GPU systems for deep learning, and computing clusters for large data set processing. In addition, the laboratory has 5000TB medical image data that are sufficient for precision psychiatry.
 

The Research Engineer is required to work on developing AI and geometric deep learning approaches. Issues to be explored include imbalanced data, scalability, transfer, self-supervision, etc., in prediction, inference, and planning, with applications in medical images.

•    At least a Bachelor / Master degree holder with a good track record of publications at major machine learning, AI, or closely related conferences and journals.
•    Good communication and writing skills.
•    Open to fixed-term contract.
