Research Associate/Research Fellow (Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems)

A Research Associate/Research Fellow position is available in the NTU Centre in Computational Technologies for Finance, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The NTU Centre in Computational Technologies for Finance is a newly created pan-university centre in NTU to coordinate and support NTU’s initiatives, activities and programmes in Blockchain. 

Job Description:

• Leads and participates in Centre blockchain research projects 

• Participates in collaborative discussion with potential partners from government agencies and industry

• Provides research grants submission support for the Centre

• Publishes research findings in key conferences and journals

• Advises and mentors NTU Blockchain student club on blockchain projects 

• Supports the development of Blockchain course materials 

Job Requirements:

• Master or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or related fields

• Experience in Blockchain technologies or platforms e.g. Ethereum, Algorand, Conflux, etc

• Familiarity with blockchains, smart contracts and other decentralised systems

• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages (C/C++, Python, Java)
