Research Assistant [LKCMedicine]

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our team and contribute to our ongoing efforts in fluid biomarker research, neuropsychological assessment, and participant recruitment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various research projects aimed at elucidating the underlying mechanisms of dementia and exploring potential interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fluid biomarker experiments, including sample preparation, analysis, and data interpretation.
• Perform neuropsychological assessments on study participants using standardized tests and procedures.
• Assist in participant recruitment, screening, and scheduling for research studies.
• Maintain accurate records of research data and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement research protocols.
• Contribute to literature reviews, grant proposals, and manuscript preparation.

Key Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or biomedical science
• Prior experience in a research setting, preferably in dementia or neurodegenerative disease research.
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques for blood sample collection and processing.
• Proficiency in administering neuropsychological assessments and scoring protocols.
