Research Assistant (Law)

A Research Assistant position is currently available in the College of Business, Nanyang Business School.

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting the search for latest literature (ie, legislation and other relevant material, case law, journal articles, etc) on selected legal databases

• Organising and summarizing research materials extracted and read, preparing summaries etc

• Providing other assistance and administration where required relating to the project

Job Requirements

• Completed an undergraduate degree and currently undertaking a postgraduate degree in law (for example, Juris Doctor) OR in the final year of undergraduate degree programme in law such as LLB (Bachelor of Laws] in a common law jurisdiction such as Singapore

• Good command of the English language

• Has knowledge and interest in at least one of the following research fields (ie, internet law, media law and fake news)

• Interest in legal research

• Communicate well in person and in writing

• Organised and can work well with others
