Background

The department invites applications for a Full-time Research Assistant positions. Interested person with strong skills in applied empirical methods and econometrics, and a strong interest in furthering study in the science of behavioral change, is strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in conducting (field or lab) experiment is a plus. Applicants should have at least a Bachelor degree. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of passionate researchers to work on exciting projects which have immediate policy and commercial implications. Salaries are commensurate with candidate's qualifications, track record, potential, and relevant experience.


Job Description

The research assistant will oversee day-to-day activities and the general management of projects that Consumer Behavior faculty members work on. These responsibilities include:

 

  • Manage and attend research meetings hosted by CB faculty,
  • help professors design and manage experiments,
  • help professors conduct experiments,
  • assist with results summarization and writing,
  • assist with research presentations,
  • manage reimbursement of experimental fees,
  • coordinate and supervise part-time research assistants to help in the responsibilities stated above.

    • Job Requirements
  • have at least a basic degree, preferably from the social sciences (e.g., Business, Economics, Psychology, etc);
  • are experienced in experimental methods;
  • have good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • and have a strong interest in pursuing Ph.D. in a social science discipline.
