Job Description

Through devising precise management using innovative technologies and Artificial Intelligence, the Centre for Innovation and Precision Eye Health aims to reduce vision loss and improve population eye health, by providing the right intervention to those who need it at the right time and transform the current way of providing eye care.

 

Successful candidate will be part of a team of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Software Developers who partner clinicians to propose, develop, and implement advanced Artificial Intelligence / machine learning models and pipelines.

 

The candidate will also ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the models and tools for InVision.


Responsibilities
  • Perform data analytics of healthcare data
  • Develop dashboard and graphical display and representation of data trends and norms
  • Assist data scientists in the team with some aspects of data cleaning, analysis and machine learning
  • Work with software development team to use data analytics to provide a framework for future software direction and development

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, statistics, computer science or related fields with good machine learning skills and software development skills
  • Hands-on experience on data cleaning, analysis and use of data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, TIBCO Spotfire, etc.
  • Proficient with Python and AI related frameworks (such as Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc.)
  • Prior background or exposure to healthcare data is a plus
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
