A Project Officer position is currently available in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS).

Job Responsibilities

  • Theoretical physicist with experience in exciton-polariton physics

  • Responsible for design of nanophotonic structures

  • Performance of modelling of exciton-polariton experiments

  • Performance of models of non-Hermitian lattices

  • Modelling of quantum optical lattices and quantum neural networks

  • Work as part of a team involving colleagues performing both theoretical and experimental work with exciton-polaritons

  • Disseminate research results in peer-reviewed international journals and at international conferences

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University

  • Track record of peer-reviewed papers in international journals

  • Experience in the setup and performance of nonlinear optical experiences

  • The ideal candidate would have experience in theoretical exciton-polariton physics and/or theory of neural networks
