A Project Officer position is available in the Centre for System Intelligence and Efficiency, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. 

Job Description:

  • Conduct research and development on state-of-the-art multi-modality perception methods for challenging environments, especially the object detection and tracking, depth estimation and semantic segmentation and localization in large scale environments.

  • Prepare research papers, technical reports and presentations to report the research outcomes to both NTU and Industry Collaborators

  • Liaise with Engineers from Industry Collaborators

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering with a related background in Robotics

  • Demonstrated independent research skills in multi-sensor based perception, mapping and localization for mobile robots or autonomous vehicles

  • Excellent programming skills in C/C++/Python/OpenCV/ROS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
