The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in the laboratory to synthesise the target molecules and to characterize them by standard spectroscopic techniques such as high field NMR.
Interpret the data and show initiative in solving the problems that arise and in ensuring that the project moves forwards.
Contribute to the general running of the laboratory as part of the team.
Interact with other researchers and provide mentorship to juniors
Job Requirements:
A BSc degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related discipline
Experience in organic synthesis and related techniques
