A Project Officer position is available in the Centre for OptoElectronics and Biophotonics, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The Project Officer will conduct research for developing integrated photonic quantum computers, perform simulations, fabricate and test photonic devices such on-chip quantum light sources. Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform optical simulations using state-of-the-art optical simulators (e.g., Lumerical)

  • Fabricate quantum photonic devices in NTU nanofabrication facility (N2FC, https://www.ntu.edu.sg/n2fc )

  • Characterize the fabricated devices in our photonics lab (refer to https://donguknam.com/FACILITY )

Job Requirements:

Education background/ experience required:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering/Physics or any related areas

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong passion for pushing the boundary of human knowledge in science and engineering domain

  • Good English reading and writing skills

  • Good communication skills and team player
