The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Development of novel plasmonic materials and SERS platform of high enhancement factor to achieve strong signal and enhance analytical performance;
Constructing machine learning model for qualitative and quantitative analysis of gaseous samples. The main tasks involve
nanomaterial synthesis and assembly
constructing a model using programming software such as Python for spectra analysis
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Chemistry
Strong background in nanochemistry, computational chemistry and machine learning.
Strong lab skills
Competent in data analysis
Experience in a plasmonics lab with strong background in SERS platform development
Have knowledge on synthesis of nanoparticles, fabrication to produce SERS platform and the functionalization
