A Project Officer position is available in the Centre for System Intelligence and Efficiency, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

  • Conduct research and development on state-of-the-art route planning algorithms on vehicles, such as mixed integration programming, genetic algorithm, deep reinforcement learning

  • Develop robust algorithms for route optimization of fleet of AESVs in dynamic traffic environments and traffic flow prediction in the road network

  • Research on machine learning algorithms for traffic estimation, prediction and route optimization

  • Liaise with Engineer from industry collaborators on fleet management subsystem

  • Develop and implement codes as well as testing and integration

  • Prepare research papers, report and presentation to both NTU and Industry Collaborators

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science background in control and machine learning

  • Good understanding of intelligent transportation system and route planning system

  • Good knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms

  • Excellent programming skills in C++/C/Python/MATLAB

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
