A Project Officer position is available in the Centre for System Intelligence and Efficiency, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The Project Officer will participate in a new project which aims to develop an accurate, efficient, and reliable network localization system for autonomous robots.
Job Description:
Develop sensor-fusion algorithm to process different kinds of sensor measurements
Develop distributed localization framework for a sensor network to accommodate different kinds of measurments for position estimation
Develop robust distributed coordinate-free approach for a sensor network with unknown global coordinate frame and mesurement noises
Develop integrated estimation and control scheme to achieve distributed localization in dynamic networked systems such as autonomous robot teams
Job Requirements:
Bachelor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
Possesses substantial experience, and a demonstrated excellent track record in the following: sensor fusions, network localization, autonomous navigation, or related fields
Experiences in autonomous robots or network localization
Knowledge in machine learning or matrix theory will be an advantage
Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and contribute to the whole team
