Project Officer (Autonomous Driving Simulation System Development)

A Project Officer position is available in the area of advance driving simulation system development. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Danwei Wang and a group of Research Fellows, Research Associates and PhD/Masters/Bachelors students in the school of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Job Description:

• Software development (C++, Python, ROS)

• Human computer interaction interface development

• Virtual driving interaction system development and integration

• Virtual environment and vehicle model creation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering with a related background in Virtual/Simulation System Development

• Strong programming experience in C++/Python, and experience with using CMake/ROS/Ubuntu

• Experience with developing or using robotics simulator such as Carla or Airsim

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly self-motivated, creative thinking, hands-on skills, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

• Manage to work independently and have good cooperation ability

Preference will be given to applicants with the following additional skills

• Has experience in human computer interface development

• Project experience in robotics relevant simulator development

• Has experience in OpenGL/Unreal Engine/Unity
