Part-Time Lecturer for Production for Graphic Designers—DV3012

The School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for Production for Graphic Designers—DV3012. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in January 2024.

This intermediate to advanced course will introduce you to the techniques and processes of

graphic design production. You will be exposed to digital technologies and vendor management, as well as learn how to efficiently prepare highest-quality artwork that conform to professional requirements and industrial standards for print and electronic media. This learning forms practical and technical knowledge to prepare you for work in a professional setting.

Successful candidates will have a Masters and/or PhD in Design Art, or related field of study, with a track record of creative practice. Any past teaching experience at Undergraduate Level is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Visualization or Design Art with sufficient and relevant industry experience may also be considered in exceptional cases.
