Part-Time lecturer for DF5002 Cinematography 2

The School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply for a Part-Time Lecturer for DF5002 for Cinematography. The Part-Time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate core course commencing in August 2024.

Cinematography 2 is a 13-week course that expands and develops on the skills and concepts from Cinematography 1. A critical analysis of advanced aesthetics and techniques of Cinematography through analysis of important films and cinematographers will prepare students for further studies in film.

Successful candidates will have a relevant Master’s and/or PhD in Cinematography or related field with a track record of creative practice in film production. Past teaching experience at Undergraduate Level is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production or related field and sufficient and relevant industry experience may also be considered in exceptional cases.
