Marketing & Promotion Manager, ARIE

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the marketing strategy for ARIE’s programmes and activities.

  • Plan, lead and implement marketing campaigns across ARIE’s programmes and initiatives.

  • Develop effective content strategies and campaigns.

  • Manage the creation and distribution of necessary marketing communication collaterals including videos, social media content, newsletters, emails and printed materials

  • Actively identify marketing and promotion opportunities. This may include participation in tradeshows, local and overseas events, planning and hosting SIT’s own industry events, advertising in internal and partners platforms to achieve optimum reach and outcome

  • Lead/support in the planning and execution of large-scale virtual and physical events for instance roadshows, industry events, tradeshows, hackathons, demo day, shark-tank events and SIT’s own industry events.

  • Cater and manage annual marketing and promotion budget based on annual planned calendar of marketing and promotion events and activities.

  • Track and measure the effectiveness of each marketing initiative and identify the key success factors

  • Evaluate sector conditions and industry data to implement marketing plan alterations as needed.


  • A recognised university degree with at least 5 years of relevant marketing experience, degree in Marketing or Communications will be an advantage

  • Possess copywriting and hands-on experience with content marketing, creative design (graphic/video) skills

  • An experienced marketing communications practitioner familiar with channels from digital (web, social media, email) to offline (events, print, out-of-home)

  • An excellent communicator who has a flair for language and is highly adept with the English written word

  • Someone comfortable with technology and resourceful at using applications and tech tools to support marketing objectives

  • Good experience in both marketing campaign management and event management (physical and/or virtual) will be preferred

  • A strong project manager able to manage diverse stakeholders

  • Self-led with an ability to work alone or as part of a team

  • Ability to find imaginative and practical solutions and make well-considered decisions

  • Ability to engage and build effective relationships with stakeholders and committees quickly

  • Good all round office and IT skills, and Microsoft Office
