NUS Centre for Future-ready Graduates (CFG) adopts a multipronged, student-centric approach to help them make sense of their strengths, refine their skills and demonstrate their value to employers. Beginning with the end in mind, CFG has developed a four-year roadmap to help enhance the employability of our graduates through a repertoire of skills programmes and industry focused experiential opportunities. This bolsters students’ assurance to grow deeper, discover their passion and explore multiple pathways.
Serving the entire spectrum of students from undergraduates to post-graduates, CFG offers more than 15 unit-bearing courses in collaboration with academic and industry partners. We continuously innovate and enhance the quality of our offerings, as our students deserve the best tools, preparedness, and mindset to not just launch a good career, but be equipped with life skills that can help them navigate a future that is unpredictable.
The NUS CFG marketing team is responsible for crafting the centre’s marketing strategy, building compelling messages that engage with our various audiences (students, alumni, employers), and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across web, social media, email, and offline touchpoints.
This is a challenging and purposeful role for one to join the marketing team on a one-year contract, full-time basis. We are seeking an experienced marketer to join us in our exciting mission!
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, lead and implement holistic marketing campaigns across NUS CFG programmes and initiatives
• Lead/support in the planning and execution of large-scale physical and virtual events for instance career fairs
• Oversee the creation of necessary marketing communication collaterals including videos, social media content, newsletters, emails and printed materials
o This often includes the development of suitable short and longer form marketing copy
We are looking for
• An energetic and passionate marketer with a desire for work that impacts lives
• An organised self-starter who is able to manage multiple workstreams effectively and make sense of ambiguity
• An experienced marketing communications practitioner familiar with channels from digital (web, social media, email) to offline (events, print, out-of-home)
• A strong project manager able to manage diverse stakeholders
• An excellent communicator who has a flair for language and is highly adept with the English written word
• Someone comfortable with technology and resourceful at using applications and tech tools to support marketing objectives
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant marketing experience
• It is highly essential that the candidate should demonstrate a good track record of hands-on experience in:
o Physical event management
o Integrated Marketing campaign management
o Copywriting/ Content development
• While not essential, candidates possessing the following will have added advantage:
o Creative design skills (graphic and/or video)
o Experience with web and email management
