Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the partnership and marketing strategies for ITT’s innovation centres, programmes and activities.
  • Identify and develop new industry collaborators as well as cultivate existing industry collaborators as SIT’s preferred partners for innovation projects.
  • Spearhead and oversee the efforts to develop partnership and marketing programmes, ensuring effective and positive relationships with partners.
  • Plan, lead and implement marketing content and campaigns across ITT’s innovation centres and programmes.
  • Create and execute lead generation strategies, innovation programmes and go-to-market plans with key partners. 
  • Leveraging on the partnership to prospect for innovation projects and offer training courses to the industry partners.
  • Actively identify marketing and promotional opportunities. This may include participation in tradeshows, local and overseas events, planning and hosting SIT’s own industry events, advertising in internal and partner platforms to achieve optimum reach and outcome.
  • Lead/support in the planning and execution of large-scale virtual and physical events for instance roadshows, industry events, tradeshows, hackathons, demo days, and SIT’s own industry events.
  • Cater and manage annual partnership, marketing and promotion budget based on the annual planned calendar of marketing and promotion events and activities.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of each partnership and marketing initiative and identify the key success factors
  • Evaluate sector conditions and industry data to implement marketing plan alterations as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of industry experience familiar with the local SME environment, government funding structure, research institutions, and institutes of higher learning.
  • Strong industry knowledge in one or more of these sectors namely, Community Health Transformation, Energy Resilience, Sustainable Food Innovation, Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering and Maintenance and Sustainable Maritime Engineering will be preferred.
  • Familiar with national strategic research initiatives and funding support from government agencies.
  • Enjoy working closely with industry, academic staff and students in an educational environment and believe in educating new generations of students.
  • An experienced marketing communications practitioner familiar with channels from digital (web, social media, email) to offline (events, print, out-of-home).
  • Good experience in both marketing campaign management and event management (physical and/or virtual) will be preferred.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals and success in tasks assigned.
  • Excellent ability to transform business requirements and expectations into results using technology.
  • Proven ability to drive team engagements in a tough and time-pressed environment.
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Have good persuasive writing and communication skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
