Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the running of the end-to-end operations of Admissions work, spanning across admissions processes, systems and applicant journey, thereby contributing to meeting admission objectives and targets.
  • Assists in the upkeeping and refinement of a robust student admissions system, and implements a set of well-oiled processes that are fit-for-purpose that are regularly reviewed for continuous improvement.
  • Committed to providing a positive applicant experience, upholding service standards, and professionally managing touch-points and engagement with prospective students, and the public, thus representing the University and the Division favourably. 
  • Generates admission statistics for internal and external stakeholders (eg. management and other divisions in SIT, Ministry of Education and other government bodies, polytechnics etc.).
  • Works closely with Overseas University partners and SIT Directors of Programmes and Programme Leads to achieve enrolment goals.
  • Specific functional portfolios (e.g. Systems and Processes, Policies and Research, Project Team/Cluster IC-ships which involves the leading of a team, and having strategic oversight of the Team to contribute to collective goals).
  • To support outreach and recruitment activities.
  • To support financial assistance and scholarships work.
  • Adhoc work projects on an assignment-basis
  • Requirements:

  • A degree from a good University, or relevant skills or experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven track record with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in an educational environment, with exposure to systems and operational work.
  • Experience in admissions operations or registrar’s work are plus points.
  • Good communication skills; strong people-management and interpersonal skills, and able to work well in a team.
  • Keen to learn, and can thrive in a dynamic environment.
