The Manager, President’s Office will report to the Director (President’s Office) / Executive Director (Sustainability Office) and provide support in:

  • Managing strategic projects of the President’s Office (PO) including those under the NTU2025 Strategy Office and Sustainability Office;
  • Managing projects related to AI Singapore, a national R&D platform funded by the National Research Foundation (Singapore) as the NTU president is also the executive chairman of AI Singapore; and
  • Managing the operations and administration of the President’s Office.

The Manager will be responsible for the following:

Managing strategic projects of PO

  • Support the Director (President’s Office) in the oversight and execution of NTU2025’s strategic plans across the four pillars of education, research, innovation, and community.
  • Provide secretariat support and follow-through for meetings.
  • Work closely with stakeholders including the pillar leads, track taskforces, administrative heads, and finance to ensure successful planning, execution, and completion of initiatives.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Collate data for reports as required for reporting to the Board of Trustees.

Managing projects related to AI Singapore

  • Assist the Director of Planning and Operations of AI Singapore in managing and overseeing a series of projects that will impact the AI initiatives within the programme, including facilitating approvals in accordance to the governance structure within AI Singapore.
  • Interact with and manage internal administrative team within AI Singapore, Directors, as well as external stakeholders to AI Singapore such as funders, professors, and the respective institution’s administrative team.

Managing operations and administration of PO

  • Support the management of PO which may include the budget, assets, and physical space.
  • Supervise and coordinate work of designated staff supporting PO operations of PO
  • Prepare monthly budget projections and reports to keep track of expenses

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to manage one or more projects concurrently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
