This role provides leadership in the Outreach and Student Recruitment function to spearhead strategies, initiatives, campaigns of NBS Undergraduate Programmes, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, to build a strong brand image that positions NBS as the premier business school to attract top, quality students. The most essential prerequisites are strong analytical and communication skills. The incumbent will manage both print and digital media processes and must be kept abreast of the latest marketing tools and trends to lead effective campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Meet recruitment targets set by University and School
Conceptualise and implement an integrated campaign for admissions and other activities across the year that meet pre-defined targets
Build strategic and proactive relationships and partner with various internal and external stakeholders including alumni, employers, faculty, students, senior management, pre-university institutions and vendors to spearhead outreach events to prospective students
Manage outreach and engagement in the traditional and digital space and keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
Manage the website, ensuring it is up-to-date and SEO-friendly, including timely updates on its performance and areas for improvement
Monitor and analyse website traffic and user engagement metrics to understand impact and strategise ways to increase web traffic across platforms by recommending content distribution to online channels and social media
Manage the sourcing of relevant market intelligence and analyse evolving behaviour of prospective students and make recommendations for adjustments or planning of market campaigns
Oversee the production and maintenance of marketing and communication materials and resources, e.g., creating online portal; templates toolkit and finding and managing external suppliers as well as overseeing major production (e.g., video, photography – image library)
Collaborate with the communications team to ensure messaging is both appealing and relevant across the various platforms
Requirements:
Degree in any discipline with minimum 6 years of relevant working experience (at least 3 years in online/digital marketing and social media marketing)
Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, with the confidence to present strategies and concepts to sell ideas
Able to write well and tailor content and repurpose it to suit different digital platforms
Sound knowledge of web management, SEO and SEM, social media platforms, relevant digital tools, and the ability to track performance and offer solutions for improvement
Functional knowledge of web design and development, social media platforms and design software, website analytics and data analysis skills, with good knowledge of the latest trends in digital marketing, SEO practice and taxonomy
A creative thinker, self-starter with initiative, good problem-solver, team player and leader
Ability to develop a comprehensive plan for external and internal communication activities with School stakeholders
Excellent project and event management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, multi-task and deliver with quality and timeliness
Demonstrated experience in working with agencies (creative, media and/or digital)
