Job Description

Job Purpose:

Candidate will be part of a dynamic team in NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, to organize, plan and execute assessments across all medical years of the undergraduate program to ensure that students are competent to progress to the next Phase of study or graduate. He/she will also provide administrative, secretarial, and logistical support and guidance to the Education Committees and other stakeholders, to facilitate accurate and error free assessments.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Organize, plan, and execute Medical Year One Theory and Clinical Assessments and Qualifying Examinations.

 

2. Provide administrative and logistical leadership for pre and post assessment processes (e.g. examiners nomination and appointment, procurement for logistics, catering, transport, vendor management, nurse recruitment, cash advancement, invoice processing)

 

3. Other Assessment Related Duties

  • Plan and collate dates, book venues, send invites and track attendance for assessment events.
  • Collate, track and inform students of release of posting results.
  • Coordinate the nomination of invigilators/examiners and training matters.
  • Collate exam questions for archival.
  • Handle any other new administrative matters and assessment initiatives when needed.

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, independent, and highly adaptive to change
  • Tactful in handling confidential information
  • Able to plan at both the macro and micro level
  • Eager to assist and nurture others to achieve their potential and work towards a common goal
  • Able to weigh options and make decisions critically and systematically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written
