MAL Administrator / Data System Engineer

AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore's AI efforts.

Join us and be part of a dynamic, development team consisting of developers, AI engineers and data engineers to build AI apps and services with the AI Singapore collaborators. 

- You will help plan, specify, set up, operate, and maintain hardware and software resources and infrastructure to support the growing computing requirements of the AI Technology team. 
- You will interact closely with the other engineers, project managers, and research teams to gather requirements and manage IT resources. 
- You will supervise and operate our secure micro-access lab, implement and monitor access control procedures. 

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related disciplines 
- Strong system-building skills and keen interests in working with emerging technologies and frameworks 
- Past experiences in: 

•    Open source DevOps tools and software as a service solutions 
•    Related work at a commercial company or industrial research lab 

- Good communications skills in both written and verbal English; and 
- An adventurous spirit and willingness to learn and experiment with new ideas and new domains

Many of our roles require a significant amount of physical interactions with students/staff/public members. Even for job roles that may be performed remotely, there will be instances where on-campus presences are required.
