Economics under the School of Social Sciences (SSS) consists of 23 full time faculty members, and offers programmes in all levels including undergraduate, MSc and PhD. NTU Economics will host the primary Asian Meeting of the Econometric Society from 28 to 30 July 2023.

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Economics

The School of Social Sciences at NTU has an opening for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position in Economics. We are looking for candidates in fields of microeconomics and financial economics. Strong candidates in other fields may be considered as well.

Selection will be based on evidence of high-quality teaching and research. The preferred candidate should have a proven track record in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should possess a PhD degree in Economics or relevant fields.

The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop courses for the Division of Economics and MSc in Applied Economics (MSAE) programme, as well as supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects.
